Zo werkt dit proefexamen
Elke poging kiest willekeurig 40 vragen uit alle 99 vragen van deze toets, dus geen poging is hetzelfde.
Het officiële examen bestaat uit deze onderdelen:
- Listening: 4 parts, 40 questions, about 30 minutes
- Academic Reading: 3 passages, 40 questions, 60 minutes
- Academic Writing: 2 tasks (Task 1 at least 150 words, Task 2 at least 250 words), 60 minutes
- Speaking: 3 parts, face-to-face interview, 11–14 minutes

Wat je leert
- Describe the four sections of IELTS Academic, their timing and how band scores are worked out
- Follow everyday and academic recordings and answer within a word limit
- Tell True, False and Not Given apart, and identify a writer's views in Academic Reading texts
- Write a clear overview and accurate comparisons for Writing Task 1 data
- Plan a Task 2 essay that answers every part of the question with a clear position
- Extend Speaking answers, use a Part 2 task card well, and paraphrase when you lack a word
