-
Domanda 3 di 25

Hard hats that have been struck should be replaced, even if no damage is visible, because the shell or suspension may be weakened.
-
Domanda 4 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: B. 20,000 volts
Class E hard hats have a 20,000-volt rating. Class G is rated for 2,200 volts and Class C has no electrical rating.
-
Domanda 5 di 25

-
Domanda 6 di 25
Mostra la risposta

CSA Z96 has three classes. Class 3 gives the greatest coverage and visibility, especially in poor light.
-
Domanda 7 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: C. Stay back, warn others if needed and report it right away as your post orders say
A guard reports hazards and keeps people away from them. Entering a trench or improvising a cover can put you or others in danger.
-
Domanda 8 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: C. Record it and report it to the site contact as your post orders direct
Keys left in machines make theft easy. Note the time and location and report it; never operate equipment you are not trained and authorized to use.
-
Domanda 9 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: B. So thieves cannot predict when and where you will be
A patrol that follows the same loop every time is easy to watch and avoid. Irregular patrols are much harder to predict.
-
Domanda 10 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: B. Stay at a safe distance, call 911 and note descriptions and the licence plate
Your safety comes first. Calling police and recording good descriptions gives police the best chance to act without anyone getting hurt.
-
Domanda 11 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: D. 1.8 metres
The BC Fire Code requires a strongly built fence, boarding or barricade at least 1.8 m high around these sites.
-
Domanda 12 di 25

Risposta: B. Keep them closed and locked
Access gates must be kept closed and locked when the site is unattended. Fences must still allow firefighting access.
-
Domanda 13 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: A. Before the work starts
Fire codes based on the National Fire Code require the site fire safety plan to be ready before construction, alteration or demolition begins.
-
Domanda 14 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: C. Fire codes require clear access to hydrants, extinguishers and fire department connections
Construction sites must keep unobstructed access to fire hydrants, portable extinguishers and fire department connections, and keep access routes for fire trucks open.
-
Domanda 15 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: C. Hot work
Roofing and similar work that uses heat is considered hot work, so the fire code rules for hot work apply.
-
Domanda 16 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: B. At intervals of no more than 1 hour
The fire code requires a watch with tours at intervals of not more than 1 hour in this situation, with a way to warn occupants and call the fire department.
-
Domanda 17 di 25
Mostra la risposta
Risposta: A. Unlock the gate and meet the fire crew to guide them in
Firefighters lose time at a locked gate. Opening access and telling them about fuel, hazards and anyone on site helps them work safely.
-
Domanda 18 di 25

The Act makes it an offence to enter where entry is prohibited, to do a prohibited activity, or to fail to leave immediately when directed.
-

Domande frequenti
Do construction site guards need a hard hat?
Usually yes. The site's rules and your province's workplace safety law decide what you must wear. Most sites require a hard hat, safety boots and high-visibility clothing.
Can a guard arrest a trespasser on a construction site?
The Criminal Code lets the owner, or someone they authorize, arrest a person found committing a criminal offence on the property, and the person must be handed to police right away. Provincial trespass laws add their own rules, and many employers limit arrests by policy.
What should I do if I see thieves on site?
Stay safe and at a distance, call 911, and record descriptions and licence plates. Do not chase or block anyone.
