Mga madalas itanong
Do construction site guards need a hard hat?
Usually yes. The site's rules and your province's workplace safety law decide what you must wear. Most sites require a hard hat, safety boots and high-visibility clothing.
Can a guard arrest a trespasser on a construction site?
The Criminal Code lets the owner, or someone they authorize, arrest a person found committing a criminal offence on the property, and the person must be handed to police right away. Provincial trespass laws add their own rules, and many employers limit arrests by policy.
What should I do if I see thieves on site?
Stay safe and at a distance, call 911, and record descriptions and licence plates. Do not chase or block anyone.
How long does the course take?
The five lessons take about 15 minutes to read. The final test has 25 questions and you need 80% to pass.
