    Mostrar resposta

    Resposta: B. View

Freeze Panes is in the Window group on the View tab.

  2. Pergunta 2 de 20

You want row 1 (the headings) to stay on screen while you scroll down a long list. What should you use?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: C. View > Freeze Panes > Freeze Top Row

Freeze Top Row keeps row 1 visible while you scroll. Print Titles only affects printed pages.

  3. Pergunta 3 de 20

You select cell C3 and choose View > Freeze Panes > Freeze Panes. What stays locked on screen?
    Mostrar resposta

    Resposta: C. Rows 1–2 and columns A–B

Freeze Panes locks the rows above and the columns to the left of the selected cell. Above C3 are rows 1–2; to the left are columns A–B.

  4. Pergunta 4 de 20

A manager asks to see the formulas in the cells instead of their results. What is the fastest way to do this for the whole sheet?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: C. Formulas > Show Formulas (or Ctrl+`)

Show Formulas switches the sheet to display formulas. Press it again (or Ctrl+`) to show results.

  5. Pergunta 5 de 20

You received a comma-separated text file of patrol times. How do you bring it into Excel as data you can preview first?
    Mostrar resposta

    Resposta: C. Data > From Text/CSV

From Text/CSV (in Get & Transform Data) opens a preview where you check the delimiter, then Load or Transform Data.

  6. Pergunta 6 de 20

Which command imports a table from a page on the internet by entering its web address?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: D. Data > From Web

From Web asks for a URL and lets you choose a table from that page. Insert > Link only makes a hyperlink.

  7. Pergunta 7 de 20

A workbook has a named range called Rates. What is the quickest way to select it?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: A. Choose Rates from the Name Box list

The Name Box (left of the formula bar) lists named ranges; picking one selects it. Go To (F5 or Ctrl+G) also works. Find only searches cell contents.

  8. Pergunta 8 de 20

A cell contains a hyperlink to a supplier website. You want to keep the text but remove the link. What should you do?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: C. Right-click it and choose Remove Hyperlink

Remove Hyperlink keeps the cell text and removes only the link. Delete would clear the text too.

  9. Pergunta 9 de 20

A 6-page staff list must show the heading row at the top of every printed page. Where do you set this?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: D. Page Layout > Print Titles > Rows to repeat at top

Print Titles repeats chosen rows on every printed page. Freeze Panes only affects the screen.

  10. Pergunta 10 de 20

You only ever want cells A1:F20 to print. What should you set?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: B. Page Layout > Print Area > Set Print Area

  11. Pergunta 11 de 20

You hold Ctrl, select A1:C10 and E1:G10, and set them as the print area. How do they print?
    Mostrar resposta

When a sheet has more than one print area, each print area prints on a separate page.

  12. Pergunta 12 de 20

In a footer you want "Page 2 of 5". Which code shows the current page number?
    Mostrar resposta

    Resposta: D. &[Page]

&[Page] is the current page number and &[Pages] is the total number of pages, so the footer is &[Page] of &[Pages].

  13. Pergunta 13 de 20

Which view shows blue lines where each printed page will break, so you can drag them?
    Mostrar resposta

    Resposta: B. Page Break Preview

Page Break Preview (View > Workbook Views) shows page breaks you can move. Normal view does not show the page layout.

  14. Pergunta 14 de 20

You use Sort A to Z many times a day. How can you add it to the Quick Access Toolbar?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: C. Right-click Sort A to Z > Add to Quick Access Toolbar

Right-clicking almost any ribbon command offers Add to Quick Access Toolbar.

  15. Pergunta 15 de 20

Where do you add a Title and Tags to the workbook's document properties?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: A. File > Info, in the Properties list

File > Info shows the workbook properties, such as Title, Tags and Author, which you can edit there.

  16. Pergunta 16 de 20

A workbook has three sheets. You save it as CSV (Comma delimited). What is saved in the CSV file?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: C. Only the active sheet, as plain text without formatting

A CSV file holds one sheet of plain text values. Excel saves only the active sheet and drops formatting.

  17. Pergunta 17 de 20

You must send a schedule that should look the same on any computer and not be easy to edit. Which format fits best?
    Mostrar resposta

    Resposta: D. PDF

Saving or exporting as PDF keeps the printed layout and is not edited like a workbook. CSV and text files lose the layout.

  18. Pergunta 18 de 20

What is the path to run the Document Inspector in Excel?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: A. File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document

The Document Inspector is under File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document.

  19. Pergunta 19 de 20

Why does Microsoft advise running the Document Inspector on a copy of the workbook?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: D. Removed items may not be recoverable, even with Undo

Content that the inspector removes might not come back with Undo, so keep the original and inspect a copy.

  20. Pergunta 20 de 20

You want a co-worker to answer a question you left on cell D8, with replies kept together. What should you add?
    Mostrar resposta

Resposta: C. A threaded comment (Review > New Comment)
