Freeze Panes is in the Window group on the View tab.

  2. Frage 2 von 20

You want row 1 (the headings) to stay on screen while you scroll down a long list. What should you use?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: C. View > Freeze Panes > Freeze Top Row

Freeze Top Row keeps row 1 visible while you scroll. Print Titles only affects printed pages.

  3. Frage 3 von 20

    Antwort anzeigen

    Antwort: C. Rows 1–2 and columns A–B

  5. Frage 5 von 20

You received a comma-separated text file of patrol times. How do you bring it into Excel as data you can preview first?
    Antwort anzeigen

  6. Frage 6 von 20

Which command imports a table from a page on the internet by entering its web address?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: D. Data > From Web

From Web asks for a URL and lets you choose a table from that page. Insert > Link only makes a hyperlink.

  7. Frage 7 von 20

A workbook has a named range called Rates. What is the quickest way to select it?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: A. Choose Rates from the Name Box list

The Name Box (left of the formula bar) lists named ranges; picking one selects it. Go To (F5 or Ctrl+G) also works. Find only searches cell contents.

  8. Frage 8 von 20

A cell contains a hyperlink to a supplier website. You want to keep the text but remove the link. What should you do?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: C. Right-click it and choose Remove Hyperlink

Remove Hyperlink keeps the cell text and removes only the link. Delete would clear the text too.

  9. Frage 9 von 20

    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: D. Page Layout > Print Titles > Rows to repeat at top

You hold Ctrl, select A1:C10 and E1:G10, and set them as the print area. How do they print?

In a footer you want "Page 2 of 5". Which code shows the current page number?
    Antwort anzeigen

    Antwort: D. &[Page]

  13. Frage 13 von 20

Which view shows blue lines where each printed page will break, so you can drag them?
    Antwort anzeigen

    Antwort: B. Page Break Preview

  14. Frage 14 von 20

You use Sort A to Z many times a day. How can you add it to the Quick Access Toolbar?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: C. Right-click Sort A to Z > Add to Quick Access Toolbar

  15. Frage 15 von 20

  16. Frage 16 von 20

A workbook has three sheets. You save it as CSV (Comma delimited). What is saved in the CSV file?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: C. Only the active sheet, as plain text without formatting

A CSV file holds one sheet of plain text values. Excel saves only the active sheet and drops formatting.

  17. Frage 17 von 20

You must send a schedule that should look the same on any computer and not be easy to edit. Which format fits best?
    Antwort anzeigen

    Antwort: D. PDF

Saving or exporting as PDF keeps the printed layout and is not edited like a workbook. CSV and text files lose the layout.

  18. Frage 18 von 20

What is the path to run the Document Inspector in Excel?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: A. File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document

The Document Inspector is under File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document.

  19. Frage 19 von 20

Why does Microsoft advise running the Document Inspector on a copy of the workbook?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: D. Removed items may not be recoverable, even with Undo

Content that the inspector removes might not come back with Undo, so keep the original and inspect a copy.

  20. Frage 20 von 20

You want a co-worker to answer a question you left on cell D8, with replies kept together. What should you add?
    Antwort anzeigen

Antwort: C. A threaded comment (Review > New Comment)
