The Regulation does not set one interval for everyone. The employer sets the interval in a written procedure, in consultation with the joint committee or worker representative and the worker, and there must be a check at the end of each shift.
How do I refuse unsafe work in BC?
Report it right away to your supervisor or employer. If it is not fixed, there is a second investigation with a worker representative present, and if it is still not resolved, a WorkSafeBC officer is called.
How long do I have to report a work injury in BC?
Tell your employer as soon as it is safe. You have up to one year from the injury date to report it to WorkSafeBC, and your employer must report within 72 hours of learning about it.
