Manitoba Security Guard Test Practice 2026
Practise for the final provincial exam at the end of the 40-hour Manitoba Security Guard Training Program. The exam is written online through E-proctor, and you get three attempts. Practice test 1 covers Manitoba's own rules, and the other sets cover topics taught across Canada.

Frequently asked questions
How many questions are on the Manitoba security guard exam?
Manitoba's public licensing FAQ does not give the number of questions, a time limit or a pass mark. The mock exam here uses 50 questions without a pass line, so treat its length as practice only.
How many times can I write the Manitoba exam?
Three times. If you do not pass after three attempts, you must take the full 40-hour course again.
Which record checks do I need in Manitoba?
A Manitoba Child Abuse Registry check and a criminal record check from the police where you live, both within 6 months of applying. If charges or convictions show up, you also need a fingerprint-certified check.
Can a Manitoba guard carry handcuffs or a baton?
Handcuffs are not specifically banned, but only minimum force may be used. Batons are not banned, but guards should not carry or use them as weapons. OC spray is prohibited.
Can I start working while my application is processed?
No. You may not work as a guard until you receive your physical licence card.
