Connecticut Security Officer Knowledge Quiz 2026
To work as a security officer in Connecticut, you need a security officer license (often called a guard card) from DESPP. The state does not publish a licensing exam: what you need is at least 8 hours of approved training, a background check and an application, so this is a knowledge quiz. Practice test 1 covers Connecticut's own rules and law, and the other sets cover general security officer knowledge.
