Elke poging kiest willekeurig 35 vragen uit alle 91 vragen van deze toets, dus geen poging is hetzelfde.
Het officiële examen bestaat uit deze onderdelen:
- Three sections, with a 10-minute break between parts 2 and 3 (included in the 150 minutes)
- Reading and language questions: multiple choice, drag and drop, select an area (hot spot) and drop-down
- One written essay (extended response) with 45 minutes
- Content areas: Reading for Meaning; Identifying and Creating Arguments; Grammar and Language
