How this mock exam works

Each attempt draws 35 questions at random from all 91 questions for this test, so no two attempts are the same.

The official test has these parts:

  • Three sections, with a 10-minute break between parts 2 and 3 (included in the 150 minutes)
  • Reading and language questions: multiple choice, drag and drop, select an area (hot spot) and drop-down
  • One written essay (extended response) with 45 minutes
  • Content areas: Reading for Meaning; Identifying and Creating Arguments; Grammar and Language

At the end you see your score, every answer and its explanation. Your best score is saved in this browser, so you can try again until you pass comfortably.
