Antwoord: A. Straight away, without waiting to check their breathing first

    Toon antwoord

Antwoord: A. Tilt the head back with a hand on the forehead and lift the chin

    Toon antwoord

Antwoord: A. This can happen as the heart stops: call 999 and start CPR

A brief seizure-like episode can occur when the heart stops. If you are in doubt, assume cardiac arrest.

No. Your training provider assesses you during the course with practical checks and often a written test. Employers must check that the provider is competent.

EFAW covers emergency first aid in at least six hours. FAW covers the same plus a range of specific injuries and illnesses, in at least 18 hours over three days.
