Questions fréquentes
Is this the official GED Math test?
No. This is an independent practice course. It is not run by GED Testing Service, and your scores here are not GED® results.
What does the certificate from this course show?
The certificate of completion shows that you finished this practice course and scored at least 80% on its final assessment. It is not a GED® credential, not a high school equivalency and not an official score, so schools and employers will not accept it in place of the GED®.
Why is the pass mark 80% here when the GED needs 145?
The GED uses a score scale where 145 is the passing score on each subject; it is not a percent. We set a high bar of 80% so that a pass here is a good sign you are ready.
Can I use a calculator on the GED Math test?
Only on Part 2. It has an onscreen TI-30XS calculator, and at a test center you may bring your own TI-30XS. On the online test you cannot use a physical calculator. Practice Part 1 skills by hand.
Is the GED for people in Canada?
This course is about the US GED® test. In Canada, the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) replaced the GED® in 2024, so Canadian adults should prepare for the CAEC instead.
How do I sign up for the GED Math test?
Create an account on ged.com, then choose a test center or online testing, pick your subjects, a date and a time, and pay online. Prices and rules depend on your state.
L’attestation est-elle accréditée ou reconnue officiellement ?
Non.
