It is study material, not medical advice.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an exam at the end of the German first aid course?
No. The course for the driving licence ends with a certificate of attendance. This quiz is only a way to check your knowledge.
How long is the Erste-Hilfe-Kurs for the driving licence?
At least nine teaching units of 45 minutes, usually taught in one day, with theory and practical exercises.
Does my first aid certificate expire for the driving licence?
For the licence, no. You need the certificate when you apply, and you do not need a new one when the licence is extended or renewed. Workplace first aiders must refresh every two years.
Can I be punished for making a mistake while helping?
The law punishes not helping when help is necessary and reasonable (§ 323c StGB). Helpers are also insured by the statutory accident insurance. The best mistake to avoid is doing nothing: call 112 and follow the dispatcher.
Does the course count for workplace first aid?
The content is the same as the workplace first aider course. Providers approved by the accident insurers can train both groups.
