How often must a lone guard check in under Saskatchewan rules?
The regulations do not set one interval. They require an effective communication system and allow regular contact by the employer. Your employer's written procedure sets the times.
How do I refuse unsafe work in Saskatchewan?
Tell your supervisor which task you refuse and why. If it is not resolved, the occupational health committee investigates, then an occupational health officer if needed. Call 1-800-567-7233.
How fast must my employer report my injury to the WCB?
Within five days after becoming aware of an injury that stops you earning full wages or needs medical aid. You should report the injury to your employer immediately.
